Military Bio:

C. Earl Derrington, Jr. of Jackson, MS. was with the 78th Infantry Division of the US Army when he was wounded in action and taken prisoner on the following day of December 14, 1944 durring the Battle of the Bulge, he was then 20 years old. He was held prisoner at Stalag 69 and Stalag 12-A. H and received the Purple Heart, Inf. Combat Badge, ETO, Good Conduct Medal and POW Medal.

Derrington was also the National Commander (1983-84) of the American Ex-Prisoners of War organization and Legislative Officer in 1977-1984. He was self-employed in the real estate. His wife is Pauline Derrington.
